Lilly Dilly the clown, is the daughter of Dilly and Bob Balloo. Lilly might possibly be one of America's youngest working clowns. At just 6 years old she will steal your heart as she twists balloons for you, dances her style of modern Ballet, or cracks you up with a joke or a botched up joke. She used to be called "Maybe the clown", and I, Dilly, was "Always the Clown". She was called "Maybe" because maybe she'd perform and maybe she wouldn't. Lilly Dilly the Clown works with her family the Driscoll Family Clowns serving the Quad Cites and surrounding Illinois and Iowa areas. They are available to perform and teach nationwide. It is always refreshing to see what Lilly comes up with as she mixes with a crowd. Since the first time she was picked out of the crowd, Lilly has been chosen by Bello five separate times over the last four years. Sadly, Bello is leaving the circus. We will miss him very much. But Lilly surprised Bello by showing up to his last Moline, IL show in "full clown" that didn't stop Bello from selecting her from the audience even though it looked like she was "planted" there. She had never performed this routine with him. And do you know what? She was wonderful. We are now even bigger Bello Nock Fans than before. |
