Janie has been called
"totally unique"
"throughly captivating" "a human cartoon"
"a full-on high-energy outstanding performer",
"able to take her audience from belly laughs to tears and back again in a single story"

She has been seen performing and teaching the art of entertaining nation-wide.
She combines loads of physical comedy, song and dance,
and award-winning magical balloon artistry
with her unique style of improvisational story telling to create
truly fantastic, high-energy, memorable
Balloon Adventure Shows fit for any stage,
from large arenas to your family room for a birthday celebration.

Janie was bitten by the theatre bug at a young age.
Writing, choreographing, costuming, and casting herself to play all the roles
in countless shows; she sold tickets to family members, friends
and even her pets.  Many hours were spent performing for the applause of her family.
Recognizing her passion for performance her mother, Charlotte, enrolled her in classes at
one of America's oldest, well respected repertoire acting companies,
Hedgerow Theatre in Moylan, Pennsylvania.
After a short period of training in improvisational and classical theatre,
Hedgerow enlisted Janie as it youngest company member to date.
Her work and studies at Hedgerow continued for 12 years,
even while Janie attended college at West Chester University.
While at college Janie's studies focused heavily on dance, story telling,
and performance styles for Children's Theatre.

Before completing her degree in Theatre at West Chester University,
Janie was cast in a major motion picture.  Flying to California to work in film, seemed like a
dream come true.  However, it wasn't long before she realized that she missed the connection
of working before a live audience.  So after appearing in several motion pictures and industrial
films, she was on to touring as an actress and dancer.

Today we find Janie Driscoll serving as the owner and lead performer for her company called
Zany Janie and Friends Entertainment  (formerly called alwaysclowning.com)

In an attempt to capture the local market Janie taught herself
balloon art and face painting. What seemed like a simple strategy to earn more party
appearances each year has blossomed to create the ever-so-popular balloon shows she
performs today.  What she does is so different that she is one of a mere handful of artists
world-wide who combine large dramatic balloon sculptures with live stage performance.

We are available for conventions, festival, and performances
world wide.
